Mr. Flores practices as an Associate Attorney at Nicklaus & Associates, P.A., in Coral Gables, where he specializes in civil litigation and his area of practice is insurance defense and transportation law. His prior experience includes commercial litigation, contract disputes, real estate, and insurance coverage litigation.
Mr. Flores was born in Camaguey, Cuba. In 1993, he graduated from Florida International University with a Masters of Science degree in Criminal Justice. While at F.I.U., Mr. Flores was a member of Sigma Phi Alpha Honor Society requiring higher academic standards, and achieved the award of Scholars among Scholars. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law, and received his Juris Doctorate in 1996.
Mr. Flores was the Executive Director of the Cuban American Bar Association, (CABA) Pro Bono Project. While at CABA Mr. Flores directed and oversaw the legal representation for members of the community through the program’s pro bono project. Pro bono legal representation included areas of immigration, family law, foreclosure defense, consumer fraud, and land lord tenant matters.
Mr. Flores is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Florida.
