As an Associate, Nicholas F. Van Valen practices personal injury litigation, wrongful death litigation, medical malpractice litigation, products liability, and general civil litigation for the firm. Additionally, he is experienced in the area of criminal defense. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac College School of Law. Honors and distinctions he received while in law school included membership on the staff of the Connecticut Probate Law Journal, and membership within Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Mr. Van Valen is a member of the American Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and all state trial courts within Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the Georgia Bar.
